Amrita Vishwa Vishyapeetham also known as Amrita University is deemed to be a university that was established in the year 1994. The institute offers various undergraduate and postgraduate online courses like BCA, BBA, MCA, MBA, etc. It is one of the youngest universities to become deemed a university in the year 2003 and was approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In the year 2009 Amrita Universita has been accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC. According to NIRF Ranking 2021, the university has been ranked 5th among the Indian universities.

Amrita University offers a total of 207 undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), doctoral (Ph.D.), integrated-degree, dual-degree, and certification programs in Engineering, Business, Medicine, Arts and Sciences, Biotechnology, Mass Communication, and Social Work.

Amrita University Entrance Exam AEEE

AEEE is a national-level exam that is conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Applicants who are interested in taking admission in engineering courses can apply for the exam.

Amrita University Placement

Amrita University has a placement cell that organizes various training sessions for the students. The University training and placement cell work efficiently so that students can get good placement opportunities after completing their courses. Amrita University also provides paid internships to the students as a part of their post-graduation program at leading companies like Microsoft, Intel, Daimler, etc.

·       The highest and the average internship offered to the student are Rs. 80,000 and Rs. 25,000 respectively.

·       The highest International Package offered to the student during the placement drive is Rs. 80 lakh PA and the highest domestic salary offered is Rs. 43.33 lakh PA.

Amrita University Scholarship

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers all the state-level and national-level scholarships introduced by the government and awards them to students depending on their excellent academic record and financial status.

Scholarships for GATE qualified candidates: According to the AICTE, all the candidates who are GATE qualified to receive a Post Graduate Scholarship of INR 12,400 per month.

Scholarships for Non-GATE students offered by AVV: The students can avail of scholarships up to Rs. 1 lakh for the M.Tech program.
